 Invite your website visitors 

Invite your friends, colleagues, customers and other potential responders to respond to your questionnaire directly from your website, blog or forum.

Prerequisites: The instructions below are for webmasters. Some knowledge in HTML is required. The instructions are for website maintainers and developers.

 Popup invitation in your website 

The main advantage of this option is that you don't have to change any page layout or content. The popup invitation hovers on top the existing page.

 Step 1 

If you have not done it already, create your questionnaire .

 Step 2 

Add a webpage as appear below, somewhere in the server. This page is a Hidden-Page and will be used by our system invisibly, it will not be shown to the users. It's sole purpose is to set a cookie for users that have responded to your questionnaire so the system can later identify and avoid reasking them to respond to your questionnaire again and again. The page should look like that-

 Step 3 

Use the next form to generate HTML code.

The ID can be found in the summary section of your questionnaire.
This is commonly your nickname or login-name.
This is probably your name or your company's name.
Amount of seconds since the page is loaded after which the floating message should appear. It is recommended to use about 20 to 30 seconds so only visitors that really stay on your page will get this message, and pass-through pages will not bother the user.
Amount of days before the message may appear again for users who decided to postpone the invitation with "Not at this moment" option. We recommend to set this timeout to 1 or 2 (days). This method accepts also fractions to donate partial day, for example, 0.25 stands for 6 hours.

Use this field to invite users to respond to your questionnaire.
Uncheck this field if you cannot guaranty privacy or want to set your own privacy statement. If check this field please review the outcome to make sure you agree with the statement. Please note that the default statement might change with no prior notice.

This statement may appear instead the standard privacy-statement or immediately follow it.
Path to the web page you set on step 2 . The path must starts with a slash and must be relative to current host (not current page). e.g.: /hidenpage.html

 Step 4 

Copy the generated code somewhere in your HTML document's body in the same page where the invitation should appear.

 Known limitations 

interactions with other scripts or style sheets: On some rare cases there could be some unexpected interactions that might interfere either of the scripts or style sheets. It is highly recommended you run the proper tests in your test environment before using this script in your real website.

One invitation per web page. Do not use this script multiple times in a single web page.
